هذا الكتاب "التحف والهدايا" لأبي البكر محمد وأبي عثمان سعيد الخالديين يتناول موضوع الهدايا والتحف من منظور أدبي وبلاغي، مصنفاً شعر وأقوال حول هذا الموضوع إلى عدة أقسام، منها من أهدى هدية مع شعر، ومن أهديت إليه هدية فشكر عنها بشعر، ومن استدعى الهدية بشعر أو بدونه، ومن ذم ما أهدي إليه، ومن لم يقبل الهدية ترفعاً وردها تنزهاً. كما يشمل الكتاب أخباراً عن هدايا الملوك ونوادر في هذا المجال، مقدماً بذلك موسوعة أدبية حول موضوع الهدايا والتحف النفيسة.
Translation
This book, “Antiques and Gifts” by Abu al-Bakr Muhammad and Abu Uthman Saeed al-Khalidien, deals with the subject of gifts and antiques from a literary and rhetorical perspective, classifying poetry and sayings on this topic into several sections, including those who gave a gift with poetry, those who were given a gift and thanked them for it with poetry, those who requested the gift with or without poetry, those who disparaged what was given to them, and those who did not accept the gift out of respect and rejected it out of respect. The book also includes news about gifts from kings and anecdotes in this field, thus presenting a literary encyclopedia on the subject of precious gifts and antiques.
