كتاب "التشبيهات" لابن أبي عون هو مصنف في الأدب والبلاغة، يجمع مختارات من تشبيهات الشعراء وبدائعهم، مقسمة على أبواب موضوعية كتشبيه الثريا، الصبح، الفرس، البرق، والبكاء. يهدف المؤلف إلى تقديم نماذج من التشبيه الواقع النادر والاستعارة الغريبة والمثل السائر، مقتصرًا على الأبيات الطريفة النادرة، مع بدء الكتاب بذكر تشبيهات من القرآن الكريم.
Translation
The book “Similes” by Ibn Abi Aoun is a work of literature and rhetoric. It collects a selection of poets’ similes and their masterpieces, divided into thematic sections, such as the simile of the Pleiades, the morning, the horse, lightning, and crying. The author aims to present examples of rare realistic simile, strange metaphor, and common proverb, limiting himself to rare funny verses, with the book beginning by mentioning similes from the Holy Qur’an.
