Translation
The book โMasโaโil al-Niqdatโ by Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Sharaf al-Qayrawani is a book on literature and rhetoric, in which the author deals with various hadiths and literary genres, some of which are eloquent and wonderful in their organization, and some of which are strange in their translations and hadith chains. In some of his hadiths, Al-Qayrawani quoted famous tales, such as the story of Kalila and Dimna, and wrote them in a twisted literary way, as Sahl ibn Harun did in his book โThe Tiger and the Fox.โ The book aims to provide different and varied meanings for the benefit of the readers and lecturers. It includes twenty hadiths with diverse topics and meanings, expressing the difficulty of achieving it in light of the difficult circumstances that the writer went through.
