هذا الكتاب "نخبة عقد الأجياد في الصافنات الجياد" للجزائري محمد بن عبد القادر يتناول موضوع الخيل من منظور أدبي وديني، مبيناً فضلها وتكريمها في الإسلام وحب العرب لها، مع وصف أنواعها وألوانها وأوصافها، وذكر التشبيهات والاستعارات البديعة في وصفها، وتفصيل الغرة والتحجيل والدوائر وأسماء المفاصل والطبائع والصهيل.
Translation
This book, “Nukhbat Aqd al-Ajyad fi al-Safnat al-Jiyad,” by the Algerian Muhammad ibn Abd al-Qadir, deals with the subject of horses from a literary and religious perspective, explaining their virtue and honor in Islam and the Arabs’ love for them, describing their types, colors, and descriptions, mentioning the wonderful similes and metaphors in describing them, and detailing their forelocks, turbans, circles, and the names of the joints, natures, and neighs.
