أخبار النساء هو كتاب طبع لأول مرة بمصر سنة 1319 هـ منسوباً إلى ابن القيم، والصحيح أنه من تأليف ابن الجوزي، اختصره مع تجريد أسانيده من كتاب النساء لأبي الفرج الأصفهاني، ولم ينبه إلى ذلك د. نزار رضا في نشرته للكتاب منسوباً لابن القيم ومادة الكتاب تشهد أنه أبعد ما يكون من تآليف ابن القيم، الذي تبرز شخصيته العلمية والأدبية في كل تآليفه. والكتاب مبني على تسعة أبواب، بلا مقدمة. وهي في أوصاف النساء وأخلاقهن، وفيه الباب الثامن: (من أحاديث المؤلفين) وهو عنوان اعتباطي، ربما كان من إضافات النساخ. …
Translation
Akhbar al-Nisa’ is a book published for the first time in Egypt in the year 1319 AH, attributed to Ibn al-Qayyim. The correct view is that it was written by Ibn al-Jawzi. He summarized it and stripped its chains of transmission from Kitab al-Nisa’ by Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani, and Dr. did not point out that. Nizar Reda, in his publication of the book, attributed it to Ibn al-Qayyim, and the material of the book indicates that it is far from being written by Ibn al-Qayyim, whose scientific and literary personality is evident in all his writings. The book is based on nine chapters, without an introduction. It is about descriptions of women and their morals, and it contains the eighth chapter: (From the hadiths of the authors), which is an arbitrary title, and may have been one of the copyists’ additions. …
