يعد كتاب "الاختيارين" من الأعمال الأدبية والبلاغية التي تناولت أشعار فصحاء العرب في العهدين الجاهلي والإسلامي. يجمع الكتاب اختيارات المفضل الضبي والأصمعي من الشعر العربي الفصيح، مستمداً هذه الأشعار من روايات مشايخ اللغة الموثوقين. يتضمن الكتاب قصائد وأبيات شعرية لشعراء بارزين، مع تفسيرات لبعض الكلمات والعبارات المستخدمة، مما يجعله مرجعاً مفيداً للدارسين والمهتمين بالشعر العربي الفصيح واللغة العربية.
Translation
The book "The Two Choices" is one of the literary and rhetorical works that dealt with the poetry of classical Arabs in the pre-Islamic and Islamic eras. The book collects the selections of Al-Mufaddal Al-Dhabi and Al-Asmai from classical Arabic poetry, deriving these poems from the narrations of trusted sheikhs of the language. The book includes poems and verses by prominent poets, with explanations of some of the words and phrases used, making it a useful reference for scholars and those interested in classical Arabic poetry and the Arabic language.
