يتألف كتاب "الرسائل السياسية" للجاحظ من عشر رسائل تناولت موضوعات سياسية وأدبية متعددة، حيث اهتم الجاحظ بشرح مفهوم السياسة ومبادئها، وناقش مسائل مثل الوطنية والصراع الحزبي. وتركز الرسائل على كيفية تدبير شؤون الناس وتحقيق المصالح العامة، معتمدًا على مبادئ الترغيب والترهيب في إدارة الدولة. كما تناولت الرسائل مواضيع أخرى مثل فضائل الحكام وأخلاقهم، وآداب الحكم، وتمتاز الكتابات بأسلوبها البلاغي وأفكارها السياسية العميقة.
Translation
The book “Political Letters” by Al-Jahiz consists of ten letters that dealt with various political and literary topics. Al-Jahiz was interested in explaining the concept of politics and its principles, and discussed issues such as patriotism and party conflict. The messages focus on how to manage people's affairs and achieve public interests, relying on the principles of enticement and intimidation in state administration. The letters also dealt with other topics, such as the virtues and morals of rulers, and the etiquette of government, and the writings are distinguished by their rhetorical style and deep political ideas.
