Translation
Al-Majmu’ Al-Lafif by Ibn Hibatullah is a comprehensive literary composition that deals with the benefits and anecdotes of poetry and prose in various literary, religious, scientific and historical fields. The book combines sermons, letters, sermons, hadiths, stories, and anecdotes, and is distinguished by the diversity of its content, which includes religious sciences, language, literature, genealogy, travel, and natural and social sciences. Taking its material from traditional books, it includes poetry rich in selections from well-known and unknown poets, making it a rich and useful cultural and literary reference.
