In his book “Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab, a Study of His Life and Poetry,” Ihsan Abbas provides a comprehensive overview of the life of the poet Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab and the development of his poetry over time. The book deals with multiple aspects of Al-Sayyab's personal, social, and political life, and how each of them influenced his poetic creativity. The author focuses on presenting an integrated picture of Al-Sayyab as a human being and a poet, relying on a method that combines chronology and psychological and artistic changes, with the aim of presenting a comprehensive vision to the reader.
