The book “The History of Arabic Literature in the Nineteenth Century” by Dr. Louis Sheikho deals with a detailed study of the development of Arabic literature during the nineteenth century and the first quarter of the twentieth century, indicating the developments of poetry and literature in the East and Europe, and reviewing the works of famous Muslim, Christian, and Orientalist writers in that era.
