Translation
The Collection of Proverbs is a scientific and literary encyclopedia written by Abu Hilal Al-Askari. It contains a large collection of Arabic proverbs. The compiler compiled his book on the letters of the alphabet. He presents a proverb, explains its origin, its saying if known, and what it is true for, and explains its meanings.
