هذا الكتاب "خريدة القصر وجريدة العصر" من تأليف العماد الأصبهاني، يتناول مجال الأدب والبلاغة، ويستعرض فيه شعراء العراق وعلماؤه في عصره. يهدف المؤلف إلى توثيق آثار أهل عصره وحفظها، نظراً لضياع عرف الفضل وانحسار اهتمام الناس به. يشبه الكتاب بمجموعة من الكنوز الأدبية والعلمية، حيث يحتوي على فوائد وأفكار جديدة في مجال الأدب والشعر، محاولاً تقليد ما قدمه الثعالبي والباخرزي في هذا المجال.
Translation
This book, “The Palace Scrap and Al-Asr Newspaper,” written by Imad Al-Isfahani, deals with the field of literature and rhetoric, and reviews Iraqi poets and scholars of his time. The author aims to document and preserve the works of the people of his time, given the loss of the custom of credit and the decline of people’s interest in it. The book is likened to a collection of literary and scientific treasures, as it contains benefits and new ideas in the field of literature and poetry, trying to imitate what Al-Tha'labi and Al-Bakhrazi presented in this field.
