«خزانة الأدب» في الأصل، وكما يذكر صاحبه في مقدمته له، هو شرح لبديعيته الآنفة الذكر، والتي أنشأها كما يذكر هو «برسم من محمد بن البارزي الجهني الشافعي» صاحب ديوان الإنشاء بالممالك الإسلامية، وقد حذا فيها حذو «طرز البردة» بعد أن وقف محمد بن البارزي على بديعية الشيخ عز الدين الموصلي التي التزم فيها تسمية النوع البديعي، وورى فيها من جنس الغزل، ليتميز بذلك على الشيخ صفي الدين الحلي، الذي لم يلتزم ذلك في بديعيته. …
Translation
“The Treasury of Literature” originally, and as its author states in his introduction to it, is an explanation of his aforementioned innovation, which he created, as he states, “with a drawing from Muhammad bin al-Barazi al-Juhani al-Shafi’i,” the author of the Diwan al-Insha’ in the Islamic Kingdoms. In it, he followed the example of “Tarz al-Burdah” after Muhammad bin al-Barazi stopped at the innovation of Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Mawsili, in which he adhered to naming the original genre, and misinterpreted it from the genre of ghazal, in order to distinguish it from Sheikh Safi al-Din al-Hilli, who did not He adheres to this in his originality. …
