Translation
The Treatise of Disciples and Whirlwinds by Ibn Shahid Al-Andalusi deals with the fields of literature and rhetoric by studying the influences of poets and writers on their works, with a focus on literary criticism and analysis of literary and fairy figures. The book includes a rich literary dialogue between its author and Zuhair bin Numayr, one of the bravest jinn, in which they discuss the concept of influence and being influenced in literary creativity, while providing examples from the lives of poets and writers and their works.
