The book “The Wise Men of the Crazy” by Ibn Habib al-Naysaburi is one of the books that deals with the topics of literature and rhetoric, as the author focuses on studying the cases of the insane and analyzing their behavior and characteristics. The book deals with the causes and types of madness, and also includes a study of famous mad personalities in Arab heritage, trying to understand whether they are truly mad or whether they pretend to be mad to achieve a specific goal.
