Translation
This book, written by Ahmed bin Mustafa Al-Maraghi, deals with the three sciences of rhetoric: statement, meanings, and badi’. The author focuses on analyzing the concepts of eloquence and rhetoric linguistically and idiomatically. The book includes studies in semantics based on detailed divisions of predicates and constructions, and aims to provide exercises and models for developing rhetorical skills. The book aims to understand the secrets of Arabic rhetoric and its characteristics, and how to apply it in speech, with reference to its role in the miracle of the Holy Qur’an.
