Translation
The book “The Art of Elocution” by Muhammad Taha Abdel Fattah Muqallad deals with the study of the art of elocution from the perspective of linguistic sounds and pronunciation rules, with a focus on the history of the emergence of this art and its development throughout the ages. The author begins by discussing the efforts of early Muslim scholars to preserve the purity of the Arabic language and its grammatical and morphological correctness, then moves on to analyzing linguistic sounds and their characteristics and their relationship to the rules of diction. The book also addresses pronunciation defects and hearing errors and how to avoid them.
