هذا كتاب في تاريخ الأدب الجاهلي، يهدف إلى تقديم دراسة شاملة للعصر الجاهلي من جوانبه المختلفة، متجاوزًا الاقتصار على دراسة نماذج من الشعراء. يبدأ الكتاب بتمهيد عن الجاهليين ومعنى الجاهلية، ثم يتناول بالتفصيل أنساب القبائل العربية ومنازلها، وحياتهم السياسية والاجتماعية والدينية، متطرقًا إلى عاداتهم كالكهانة والعرافة وعبادة الأصنام، ليكون مرجعًا جامعًا لكل ما يحتاجه الباحث في هذا المجال.

Translation

This is a book on the history of pre-Islamic literature. It aims to provide a comprehensive study of the pre-Islamic era from its various aspects, going beyond being limited to studying examples of poets. The book begins with an introduction about the pre-Islamic people and the meaning of pre-Islamic times, then deals in detail with the genealogies of the Arab tribes, their homes, and their political, social, and religious life, touching on their customs such as divination, divination, and idol worship, to be a comprehensive reference for everything the researcher needs in this field.
