Translation
The book “The Story of Literature in Hijaz” by Dr. Abdullah Abdul Jabbar deals with an in-depth study of literary life in Hijaz during the pre-Islamic era and the Prophethood, with a focus on the social, political and religious factors that contributed to the formation of Hijazi literature. The book deals with the Hijaz environment from its political, social, and religious perspective, and reviews important figures and literary works in Hijaz before Islam, to understand the cultural background in which the Islamic call arose. The book also studies the impact that the Qur’an had on Hijaz literature, and the role of Hijaz as a center for Arab culture and literature.
