كتابٌ في الأدب والبلاغة، يتناول بالدراسة والتحليل قضايا الشعر الحر في العالم العربي، ويقسمه مؤلفه إلى ثلاثة أبواب رئيسية: الأول يبحث في الشعر الحر باعتباره حركة أدبية واجتماعية، والثاني يدرس عروضه وقواعده وتشكيلاته، والثالث ينظر في أثره على الجمهور. يستند الكتاب إلى استقراء القصائد الحرة المنشورة وقوانين العروض العربي، مع إشارة المؤلفة في مقدمتها إلى تطور آرائها حول بعض القواعد مع مرور الزمن وكثافة الإنتاج الشعري.
Translation
A book on literature and rhetoric that studies and analyzes the issues of free poetry in the Arab world. Its author divides it into three main sections: the first examines free poetry as a literary and social movement, the second studies its performances, rules, and formations, and the third examines its impact on the public. The book is based on an examination of published free poems and the laws of Arabic prosody, with the author noting in her introduction the development of her views on some rules with the passage of time and the intensity of poetic production.
