يتناول كتاب "مصارع العشاق" للسرّاج القارئ موضوع العشق والغرام من منظور أدبي وفلسفي، مستعرضاً آراء وأقوال مختلفة حول طبيعة العشق وآثاره على الإنسان. يتناول الكتاب جوانب متعددة للعشق كمرض وكداء يصيب أهل الظرف، وكأول لعب وآخر عطب، مع استعراض لحالات عاشقين تقيين وشهود. كما يشير إلى أن ذنوب العشاق غالباً ما تكون اضطرارية نتيجة لحالاتهم العاطفية، ويستعرض حالات شعراء مجنونين مشهورين في التراث العربي.
Translation
The book “The Wrestler of Lovers” by Al-Sarraj Al-Reader deals with the topic of love and passion from a literary and philosophical perspective, reviewing different opinions and sayings about the nature of love and its effects on humans. The book deals with multiple aspects of love as a disease and a disease that afflicts people of circumstances, and as the first play and the last spoilage, with a review of cases of pious lovers and witnesses. He also points out that the sins of lovers are often forced as a result of their emotional states, and reviews the cases of famous crazy poets in the Arab heritage.
