This book, “Wasl Balaghat al-Muwatta” by Ibn al-Salah, deals with investigating the chains of transmission of hadiths that were not transmitted in Imam Malik’s Muwatta, which are known as al-Baghdad and Murasil. The author was interested in verifying the four hadiths for which Ibn Abd al-Barr did not find a connected chain of transmission, and he presented them in a special letter. The book aims to correct some misconceptions about the authenticity of the hadiths of Al-Muwatta, and provides valuable investigations for those working in hadith science.
