The book “Literature of Souls” by Al-Ajri provides an in-depth perspective on the self’s caution against whims and desires, reviewing Qur’anic verses and Prophetic hadiths calling for self-control and good morals. The author focuses on the importance of warning against being led by desires and the necessity of awakening oneself from forbidden pleasures, stressing that whoever succeeds in this will find his refuge in Paradise.
