This book is a book about the merits of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, by Ibn al-Maghazili. It is one of the hadith books that deals with the biography of Ali bin Abi Talib and includes hadiths and narrations related to his virtue and status. The book covers Ali's lineage, mother, birth, and nickname, in addition to prophetic hadiths about him and stories from his biography. Despite the importance of the topic, Ibn Taymiyyah criticized this book for collecting fabricated narrations that do not agree with the science of hadith.
