Translation
This book is “Selected from the Book of Poets” by Abu Naim Al-Asbahani, and it includes poems by prominent poets from different eras, from Hassan bin Thabit to Abu Nawas and Abu Al-Atahiya. The book deals with examples of ancient Arabic poetry, relying on oral narration of poetic texts, and aims to present aspects of the lives of poets and their poems in a selected and concise manner.
