هذا الكتاب "اللباب في تهذيب الأنساب" لابن الأثير، وهو من الأعمال التأريخية التي تناولت الأنساب والأحساب. يتناول الكتاب نسب العوائل والأسر عبر حروف المعجم، مبيناً أصولها وتاريخ نشأتها وانتشارها. يبدأ الكتاب بحرف الألف وينتقل تدريجياً إلى باقي الحروف، ويستعرض في كل باب أسماء العوائل المرتبطة بتلك الحروف مع ذكر أصولها وأماكن نشأتها.
Translation
This book, “Al-Lubab fi Tahdheeb Al-Ansab” by Ibn Al-Atheer, is one of the historical works that dealt with genealogies and accounts. The book deals with the lineage of families and households through the letters of the dictionary, indicating their origins and the history of their emergence and spread. The book begins with the letter Alif and gradually moves to the rest of the letters.
