Translation

This book, “The Methodology of Hadith and Sunnah Scholars in the Fundamentals of Religion,” by Mustafa Helmy, is considered a book on the classification of belief. The book provides a comprehensive overview of the approach of the scholars of Hadith and Sunnah to the fundamentals of religion, with a focus on the method of the scholars of Hadith and Sunnah in looking and contemplating, and an explanation of their positions on the fundamentals of religion and their approach to discussing and responding to their opponents. The book shows that the scholars of Hadith and Sunnah were relying on rational evidence and logical proofs based on the interpretation of Qur’anic verses and Prophetic hadiths, and were guided by the understanding of the early ones who were more knowledgeable and familiar with the secrets of the Arabic language, the reasons for the revelation, and the subtleties of the beliefs related to the foundations of religion. The book aims to give the scholars of Hadith and Sunnah their due explanation and clarification, and to appreciate the method of the people of Hadith and Sunnah in the fundamentals of religion.
