The Characteristics of the Prophet’s Prayer is a book by Sheikh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani. He arranged it according to the method of prayer, from its beginning with facing the Qiblah, standing, and saying “Allahu Akbar” to its end with the salutation and the obligation of greeting, explaining the ruling on every characteristic of prayer, whether obligatory or recommended, with quoting the hadiths contained in that, mentioning the jurists on whom he relies on that issue, to strengthen his doctrine, pointing out if he finds contradiction with it, and discussing his evidence. In this book, Sheikh Al-Albani demonstrated his absolute diligence in the science of hadith, as he did not work with hadiths in which he found weakness, while citing the early jurists in correcting, weakening, and deriving jurisprudential rulings, even if some jurists worked on them.
