About this work
Translation
The book “Establishing catapults to blow up the story of the cranes” is a research treatise by the hadith scholar Nasser al-Din al-Albani, in which he aims to explain the falsity of the famous story of the cranes in some books of interpretation and hadith, which claim that Satan uttered on the tongue of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, words praising the gods of the polytheists. The author relies on tracking the various narrations of the story and explaining its reasons in the chain of transmission and the text, then responds to those who supported it, such as Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, and cites the statements of other imams in invalidating it, relying on legal and rational evidence that confirms the infallibility of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
