هذا كتابٌ يدرسُ سيرةَ أبي تُراب اللغويِّ وكتابَه المفقودَ "الاعتقاب"، ويجمعُ نصوصَه المتناثرةَ في المصادرِ اللغويةِ القديمةِ، كـ"تهذيب اللغة" للأزهريِّ. يقعُ البحثُ في قسمين: الأولُ يتناولُ ترجمةَ المؤلفِ وحياتَه العلميةَ، ومنهجَ كتابِه ومصادره وقيمتَه العلميةَ، والثاني يضمُّ النصوصَ المجموعةَ من الكتابِ مرتبةً على أبوابِ الاعتقابِ حسبَ حروفِ المعجم.
Translation
This is a book that studies the biography of Abu Turab, the linguist, and his lost book, “Al-Itqaab,” and collects his texts scattered in ancient linguistic sources, such as “Tahdheeb Al-Lughah” by Al-Azhari. The research falls into two parts: the first deals with the author’s translation, his scientific life, the methodology of his book, its sources, and its scientific value, and the second includes the texts collected from the book arranged in chapters according to the letters of the dictionary.
