About this work
كتاب "تصحيفات المحدثين" لأبي أحمد العسكري هو عمل لغوي متخصص يهدف إلى معالجة الأخطاء التي تقع في ضبط الألفاظ وتصحيحها، خاصةً ما يتعلق منها بألفاظ الحديث النبوي وأسماء الرواة. يشرح المؤلف الأسماء والألفاظ المشكلة التي تتشابه في صورة الخط، فيقع فيها التصحيف، ويبين كيفية ضبطها بالشكل والنقط ليتجنبها رواة الحديث ونقلة الأخبار. وقد انتزع المؤلف هذا الكتاب من كتابه الكبير في التصحيفات، واقتصر فيه على ما يحتاج إليه المحدثون، مرتبًا إياه على أبواب تشتمل على أسماء مشتبهة مع شرحها وبيان من اشتهر بها من الرواة.
Translation
The book “The Corrections of the Modernists” by Abu Ahmad Al-Askari is a specialized linguistic work that aims to address and correct errors that occur in controlling words, especially those related to the words of the Prophet’s Hadith and the names of narrators. The author explains the problematic names and words that are similar in handwriting, leading to misprints, and shows how to adjust them in shape and dots so that hadith narrators and news transmitters avoid them. The author extracted this book from his large book on misprints, and limited it to what hadith scholars need, arranging it into sections that include suspected names, along with their explanations and an explanation of the narrators who are famous for them.
