هذا كتاب في السياسة الشرعية والقضاء، يصف رسوم دار الخلافة العباسية وآداب الخدمة فيها. يتناول قوانين الحجابة، ومسايرة الخلفاء في المواكب، وخلع التقليد والتشريف، وخطاب الخلفاء في الكتب والأدعية لهم، إلى جانب رسوم الخطبة على المنابر وضرب الطبل في أوقات الصلوات. يهدف المؤلف إلى توثيق ما استقر عليه العمل في بلاط الخلافة من تقاليد ومراسم.
Translation
This is a book on Sharia politics and the judiciary, describing the fees of the Abbasid Caliphate and the etiquette of service there. It deals with the laws of hijab, accompanying the caliphs in processions, removing tradition and honour, and the caliphs’ speech in books and supplications for them, in addition to the fees for sermons on pulpits and the beating of drums during prayer times. The author aims to document the traditions and ceremonies established by work in the court of the Caliphate.
