Translation
Al-A'lam is a dictionary of biographies of prominent Arab, Arab, and Orientalist men and women prepared by Khair al-Din al-Zirkali. The book includes multiple introductions explaining the classification of encyclopedias and the history of the preparation of the work, which was launched in 1912 and was published in three editions until 1969. The index includes chapters arranged alphabetically and details such as Hijri, Gregorian, death of pre-Islamic people, and sources of information, making it a comprehensive reference in the field of biographies and classes.
