Translation
The book “Sham Diaries” by the author Muhammad bin Issa bin Mahmoud bin Kinan presents a series of diaries and daily reports of incidents and events that occurred in the Levant during the eleventh century AH. The book addresses various topics, including political, social and cultural events, with an emphasis on the importance of the art of history in transmitting experiences and stories across generations. The author also points out the importance of historical news in learning the lessons of the past and emulating the noble morals of the ancients.
