يتناول الكتاب الرسائل الحربية في عصر الدولة الأيوبية، مركزًا على الدواوين المتعلقة بالجيش الأيوبي وأهميتها في إدارة الدولة العسكرية. يقسم المؤلف البحث إلى ثلاثة أبواب تتناول الدواوين الرئيسية ورؤساؤها، ثم الرسائل الحربية المتبادلة بين القادة في فترة صلاح الدين الأيوبي وخلفائه، مع مقارنة بين هذه الرسائل والشعر المعاصر لها في التعبير عن مشاعر المسلمين بعد نصرهم في الحروب ضد المغتصبين.
Translation
The book deals with war letters in the era of the Ayyubid state, focusing on collections related to the Ayyubid army and their importance in the military administration of the state. The author divides the research into three sections dealing with the main offices and their heads, then the war letters exchanged between the leaders during the period of Saladin al-Ayyubi and his successors, with a comparison between these letters and contemporary poetry in expressing the feelings of Muslims after their victory in the wars against the usurpers.
