الكتاب "الفتنة ووقعة الجمل" لسيف بن عمر هو مؤلف تاريخي يتناول تفاصيل الفتنة التي أعقبت مقتل عثمان بن عفان، بدءًا من نفي المخالفين من الكوفة والبصرة، مرورًا بالاجتماعات الثورية، والمفاوضات بين عثمان وعوامه، وصولًا إلى مبايعة علي بن أبي طالب وخلافته، وانتهاءً بوقعة الجمل واستنفار أهل المدينة. يركز المؤلف على سرد الأحداث السياسية والحوارات والخطابات التي جرت بين القادة، مع إرفاق آراء متفرقة في تحليل الفتنة. يهدف الكتاب إلى تقديم نظرة شاملة على مسار الصراع الداخلي في صدر الإسلام من خلال استعراض المراحل المتعاقبة للفتنة.
Translation
The book “Sedition and the Battle of the Camel” by Saif bin Omar is a historical work that deals with the details of the strife that followed the killing of Uthman bin Affan, starting with the exile of the violators from Kufa and Basra, through the revolutionary meetings and negotiations between Uthman and his commoners, all the way to the pledge of allegiance to Ali bin Abi Talib and his succession, and ending with the Battle of the Camel and the mobilization of the people of Medina. The author focuses on narrating the political events, dialogues, and speeches that took place between the leaders, while adding various opinions on the analysis of the strife. The book aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the course of the internal conflict in early Islam by reviewing the successive stages of strife.
