هذا الكتاب هو تاريخ إسلامي شامل يتناول سير الأنبياء والخلفاء الراشدين وأحداث العصر الأموي. يتناول المؤلف يعقوب بن سفيان الفسوي حياة النبي محمد وأزواجه وأبنائه، ثم ينتقل إلى عصر الخلفاء الراشدين والولاة والعلماء، مبيناً أحداثاً مهمة في التاريخ الإسلامي. وقد كتب المؤلف بعد رحلات طويلة في المشرق والمغرب لطلب العلم وسماع الحديث من شيوخه.
Translation
This book is a comprehensive Islamic history that deals with the lives of the prophets, the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and the events of the Umayyad era. The author, Yaqoub bin Sufyan Al-Faswi, deals with the life of the Prophet Muhammad, his wives, and his children, then moves to the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, governors, and scholars, showing important events in Islamic history. The author wrote after long trips in the East and West to seek knowledge and hear hadith from his sheikhs.
