المقتبس من أنباء الأندلس هو تأريخ للمؤرخ ابن حيان القرطبي تناول فيه تاريخ الأندلس منذ بوادر الفتح الإسلامي للأندلس سنة 91 هـ إلى سنة 363 هـ في حكم الحكم المستنصر بالله. وسبب تسميته «المقتبس» أن المؤلف اعتمد فيه على «الاقتباس» من الكتب السابقة، والمقتبس كتاب ضخم يبلغ عشر مجلدات ولكن الذي وصل منه هو عدة قطع فقط. …

The quote from Al-Andalus News is a history by the historian Ibn Hayyan Al-Qurtubi, in which he dealt with the history of Andalusia from the beginnings of the Islamic conquest of Andalusia in the year 91 AH to the year 363 AH during the rule of Al-Hakam Al-Mustansir Billah. The reason for calling it “the quote” is that the author relied on “quoting” from previous books. The quote is a huge book of ten volumes, but only a few pieces have survived from it. …
