كتاب تاريخ أبي زرعة الدمشقي هو مؤلف تاريخي يتناول سيرة النبي محمد منذ مولده وحتى وفاته، ويستعرض مغازيه ومعاركه مثل بدر، ثم يتطرق إلى فترات الخلافة الراشدة وأقوالها من أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان، إضافة إلى ذكر القضاة وأحداث الشام في تلك العصور. يشتمل الكتاب على فصول منظمة تسرد الوقائع والأنساب والآثار المتعلقة بالولاية والوفاة والطبقات، مستنداً إلى روايات إسنادية موثقة. يُعدّ هذا العمل مرجعاً للباحثين في تاريخ الإسلام المبكر.
Translation
The book The History of Abu Zara’ah al-Dimashqi is a historical book that deals with the biography of the Prophet Muhammad from his birth until his death, and reviews his raids and battles such as Badr, then addresses the periods of the Rightly Guided Caliphate and its sayings from Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman, in addition to mentioning the judges and the events of the Levant in those eras. The book includes organized chapters that list facts, lineages, and monuments related to guardianship, death, and classes, based on documented attributional narratives. This work is considered a reference for researchers in the early history of Islam.
