كتاب تاريخ ابن الوردي هو مؤلف تاريخي يختصر أخبار البشر من العصور القديمة حتى الفتوحات الإسلامية، ويعتمد ترتيبًا زمنيًا للملوك والأنبياء. يشتمل على فصول تتناول أنبياء الله من آدم إلى عيسى، وملوك الفرس، وممالك مصر واليونان والروم، إضافةً إلى ملوك العرب قبل الإسلام. يهدف إلى تقديم نظرة شاملة على تواريخ الشعوب والملوك وفق منهجية مختصرة ومقننة.
Translation
Ibn al-Wardi’s History Book is a historical book that summarizes human news from ancient times until the Islamic conquests, and adopts a chronological order for kings and prophets. It includes chapters dealing with the prophets of God from Adam to Jesus, the Persian kings, and the kingdoms of Egypt, Greece, and Rome, in addition to the Arab kings before Islam. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the histories of peoples and kings according to a brief and codified methodology.
