تجارب الأمم وتعاقب الهمم هو كتاب تاريخي ألفه أحمد بن محمد مسكويه يتناول أحداث الفترة من 295 هـ إلى 369 هـ. بما أن مسكويه نفسه كان أمين صندوق ووزيرًا للدولة البويهية في غرب إيران، فإن كتابه ذو قيمة خاصة. يركز المجلد الأول من هذا العمل، المؤلف من ستة مجلدات، على التاريخ العام، ويعتمد بشكل خاص على كتابات القدماء، مثل الطبري. ويعزز استخدامه للوثائق الحكومية، وخاصةً في المجلدات اللاحقة، إن قيمة عمل مسكويه مهمة تاريخية.
Translation
Experiences of Nations and the Succession of Determinations is a historical book written by Ahmed bin Muhammad Miskawayh that deals with the events of the period from 295 AH to 369 AH. Since Miskawayh himself was treasurer and vizier of the Buyid state in western Iran, his book is of special value. The first volume of this six-volume work focuses on general history, drawing in particular on the writings of the ancients, such as al-Tabari. His use of government documents, especially in later volumes, reinforces the value of Miskawayh's work as historically important.
