هذا الكتاب هو تكملة لتاريخ الطبري، ألفه المقدسي محمد بن عبد الملك ويتعلق بمجال التاريخ. يتناول الكتاب أحداثًا تاريخية تتعلق بفترة الخلافة العباسية، مركزًا على عهود الخلفاء ووزراءهم وأحداث السنين المذكورة في الفهرس. يهدف المؤلف إلى تسجيل مناقب الأسرة العباسية وتوثيق أحداثها التاريخية للاستفادة منها في المستقبل.
Translation
This book is a continuation of the history of al-Tabari, written by al-Maqdisi Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik and related to the field of history. The book deals with historical events related to the period of the Abbasid Caliphate, focusing on the reigns of the caliphs and their ministers and the events of the years mentioned in the index. The author aims to record the virtues of the Abbasid family and document its historical events to benefit from them in the future.
