كتابٌ تاريخيٌّ يسلّط الضوء على سيرة الإمام الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب ودعوته إلى التوحيد الخالص، مستنداً إلى فصولٍ تتناول نسبه، مولده، رحلاته العلمية وخارج الجزيرة، وتنفيذ الدعوة ومراحلها، بالإضافة إلى مناوراتها ومعارضتها. كما يتناول علاقة الإمام بأسرة آل سعود التي احتضنته ونصرتها، ويستعرض خطبه ورسائله وتأثيره في النهضة العلمية والأدبية وانتشار الدعوة خارج الجزيرة العربية. المؤلف عبد الله بن سعد الرويشد يقدّم تحليلاً للرسالتين التي تشرحان عقيدة الشيخ، ويستعرض آراء المفكرين والعلماء حول دعوته السلفية.
Translation
A historical book that sheds light on the biography of Imam Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab and his call to pure monotheism, based on chapters dealing with his lineage, birth, his scientific trips outside the peninsula, the implementation of the call and its stages, in addition to its maneuvers and opposition. It also deals with the Imam’s relationship with the Al Saud family, which embraced and supported him, and reviews his sermons and letters and his influence on the scientific and literary renaissance and the spread of the call outside the Arabian Peninsula. The author, Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ruwaished, provides an analysis of the two letters that explain the Sheikh’s doctrine, and reviews the opinions of thinkers and scholars about his Salafist call.
