يتناول كتاب "خلاصة الوفا بأخبار دار المصطفى" للسمهودي تاريخ المدينة المنورة وفضلها، مبيناً أسمائها وأحوالها عبر العصور، ومستعرضاً فضائلها الدينية والعلمية، مع التركيز على المسجد النبوي وعمارته وما يتعلق به من أحداث ومعالم. يقسم الكتاب إلى أبواب تتناول فضل المدينة ومتعلقاتها، فضل زيارة المسجد النبوي، أخبار سكانها منذ الأقدم حتى قدوم النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وعمارة المسجد النبوي وتوسعاته عبر الزمن.
Translation
The book “Khulasa al-Wafa Bi Akhbar Dar al-Mustafa” by Al-Samhudi deals with the history and virtues of Medina, explaining its names and conditions throughout the ages, and reviewing its religious and scientific virtues, with a focus on the Prophet’s Mosque, its architecture, and the events and landmarks related to it. The book is divided into sections that deal with the virtue of the city and its belongings, the virtue of visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, the news of its inhabitants from ancient times until the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque and its expansions over time.
