ديوان المبتدأ والخبر في تاريخ العرب والبربر هو مؤلف تاريخي من تأليف العلامة ابن خلدون، يطرح فيه دراسة شاملة لتطور المجتمعات العربية والبربرية عبر فصول تتناول العمران البشري، الجغرافيا، العصبية القبلية، وأثر البيئة على سلوك البشر. يتضمن الكتاب تحليلات حول طبيعة أجيال البدو والحضر، ومقارنات بين خصائص النفوس، إضافة إلى مناقشة أصول العصبية وتداخل الأنساب. يهدف العمل إلى إظهار العلاقات التاريخية والاجتماعية التي شكلت مسار الشعوب في المنطقة.

Translation

Diwan al-Mubtada wa al-Khabar fi Tarikh al-Arab and Berber is a historical work written by the scholar Ibn Khaldun, in which it presents a comprehensive study of the development of Arab and Berber societies through chapters dealing with human urbanization, geography, tribal fanaticism, and the impact of the environment on human behavior. The book includes analyzes of the nature of Bedouin and urban generations, comparisons between the characteristics of souls, in addition to a discussion of the origins of nervousness and the intersection of lineages. The work aims to show the historical and social relationships that shaped the path of peoples in the region.
