هذا الكتاب هو ذيل لكتاب "مرآة الزمان" لابن الجوزي، ويتناول المؤلف اليونيني أبو الفتح الأحداث التاريخية التي حدثت بعد انتهاء الكتاب الأصلي، متناولًا فترة زمنية تبدأ من سنة 654 هجرية وتتضمن أحداثاً مهمة في التاريخ الإسلامي، خاصة في العصر المملوكي والتتري. يركز الكتاب على وقائع سياسية وعسكرية مهمة، منها انتشار التتار وتأثيرهم على حكم الدول الإسلامية، ونزاعات الملوك والوزراء، وتواريخ أحداث مفصلة في العواصم الإسلامية الرئيسية.

Translation

This book is a sequel to the book “Mirror of Time” by Ibn al-Jawzi, and the Greek author Abu al-Fath deals with the historical events that occurred after the end of the original book, covering a time period starting from the year 654 AH and including important events in Islamic history, especially in the Mamluk and Tatar era. The book focuses on important political and military facts, including the spread of the Tatars and their influence on the rule of Islamic countries, the disputes of kings and ministers, and detailed histories of events in the main Islamic capitals.
