يقدّم "سوس العالمة" للمختار السوسي دراسة تاريخية للعلوم التي ازدهرت في إقليم سوس المغربي. يستند المؤلف إلى سيرته الشخصية وتعليمه في الزوايا والمدارس التقليدية، وينتقل إلى استعراض مفصل للعلوم من فن القراءات إلى الفقه والطب والمنطق وغيرها. يسلّط الكتاب الضوء على مراحل النهضة العلمية في سوس بعد القرن الثامن وأسبابها، مختتمًا بخلاصة توضح أهمية التراث العلمي السوسي في السياق التاريخي الأوسع.
Translation
“Souss the Scientist” by Mokhtar Soussi presents a historical study of the sciences that flourished in the Moroccan Souss region. The author relies on his personal biography and education in traditional corners and schools, and moves on to a detailed review of the sciences, from the art of readings to jurisprudence, medicine, logic, and others. The book sheds light on the stages of the scientific renaissance in Souss after the eighth century and its causes, concluding with a conclusion that explains the importance of the Soussian scientific heritage in the broader historical context.
