The book “The Age of the Rightly Guided Caliphate - An Attempt to Criticize the Novel” by Akram Al-Omari is a historical book that presents a criticism of the historical novel of the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphate based on the approach of the hadith scholars. It includes an analysis of historical and hadith sources and the science of men, and is divided into sections dealing with the caliphate system and politics under the caliphates of Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman.
