هذا الكتاب يتناول نوادر وأحداثاً وقعت في عصور الخلفاء من بني أمية وبنين العباس، مركزاً على الوقائع المثيرة للاهتمام والمواقف الملهمة التي جرت في عهد هؤلاء الخلفاء. يتناول المؤلف محمد الأتليدي في هذا العمل التاريخي قصصاً وحكماً من حياة الخلفاء والوزراء، معتمداً على أحداث وقعت للبرامكة مع بني العباس، ويستهل الكتاب بقصة لعمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه مع عجوز مدينية، مقدماً بذلك صورة عن حساسية الخليفة وتفهمه لظروف رعيته.
Translation
This book deals with anecdotes and events that occurred during the eras of the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphs, focusing on the interesting facts and inspiring situations that took place during the era of these caliphs. In this historical work, the author, Muhammad al-Atlidi, deals with stories and wisdom from the lives of the caliphs and ministers, relying on events that happened to the Baramkehs with the Abbasids. The book begins with a story of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, with an old woman from Medina, thus presenting a picture of the caliph’s sensitivity and understanding of the circumstances of his subjects.
