About this work
يعتبر كتاب إبراز المعاني، أحد أوائل شروح (حرز الأماني) الشاطبية، ومؤلفه هو أبو شامة عبد الرحمن بن إسماعيل المقدسي، وكان من أسباب تأليفه: كثرة الفوائد التي وقف عليها في متن الحرز، ولم يجد أحدا قبله قد ذكرها. واعتنى بذكر مسائل الإعراب واللغة إضافة إلى القراءات، وقال عن كتابه (كنيف ملئ علما). وهذا الكتاب له مكانة عالية؛ إذ أثنى عليه جمع من العلماء، قال عنه الذهبي: «وصنَّف شرحا بديع الحسن للشاطبية»، وقال عنه ابن الجزري: «وكتب وألف وكان أوحد زمانه صنف الكثير في أنواع من العلوم فشرح الشاطبية مطولا ولم يكمله ثم اختصره وهو الشرح المشهور».
Translation
The book Izraz al-Ma'ani is considered one of the first explanations of (Harz al-Amani) by al-Shatibiyyah. Its author is Abu Shamah Abd al-Rahman bin Ismail al-Maqdisi. One of the reasons for writing it was: the many benefits that he found in the text of al-Harz, and he did not find anyone before him who had mentioned them. He took care to mention issues of parsing and language in addition to the readings, and he said about his book (a treasure filled with knowledge). This book has a high status; When a group of scholars praised him, Al-Dhahabi said about him: “He wrote an exquisite commentary on Al-Shatibiyyah,” and Ibn Al-Jazari said about him: “He wrote and composed, and he was the only one of his time to compose many types of sciences. He explained Al-Shatibiyyah at length and did not complete it, then he shortened it, and it is the famous explanation.”
